Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 15, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to Olivia Home Care Services, LLC. By accessing our website or utilizing our in-home care services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Terms
Olivia Home Care Services, LLC provides non-medical in-home care, including but not limited to personal care, companionship, respite care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility assistance.
Our services are designed to support daily living activities and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our caregivers do not administer medications that require a medical license, nor do they perform invasive medical procedures.
2. User Responsibilities
As a client or the authorized representative of a client, you agree to:
User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding the client's health, needs, and living environment.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free environment for our caregivers to perform their duties.
- Treat our staff and caregivers with respect and dignity. Harassment, discrimination, or abuse of any kind will result in immediate termination of services.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment required for the client's care are available in the home.
3. Payment Terms
Clients agree to pay for all services rendered according to the rates established in their personalized care agreement.
Payment Terms
- Invoices are generated on a bi-weekly basis unless otherwise specified in your agreement.
- Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Late payments may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- We accept Private pay, as we are working hard to get MCO approval. Once MCO approval is finalized, we will be able to serve families covered by participating Medicaid Managed Care Organizations. It is the client's responsibility to provide necessary documentation.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change and emergencies happen. However, to ensure our caregivers are compensated for their time, we require advance notice for cancellations.
Cancellation Policy
- Standard Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a scheduled shift without penalty.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be billed at 50% of the scheduled shift cost.
- Termination of Service: Clients may terminate their overall care agreement with a 14-day written notice.
5. Liability and Disclaimers
While Olivia Home Care Services, LLC takes every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, we cannot guarantee protection against all accidents, injuries, or unforeseen events.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Olivia Home Care Services, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of our services.
6. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify active clients of any significant changes via email or written notice. Continued use of our services following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
