Personal Care Services FAQs
Is personal care the same as medical care?
No. Personal care is non-medical assistance with daily hygiene and activities of daily living. We do not provide skilled nursing or medical treatment.
Can I choose the times care is provided?
Yes. We build a schedule around your routine, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, subject to caregiver availability.
Is personal care covered by Medicaid?
We are working hard to get MCO approval. Until then, personal care is available on a private-pay basis. Once MCO approval is finalized, we will be able to serve families covered by participating Medicaid Managed Care Organizations.
